Energy Reducing Slitter/Rewinders

Universal Converting Equipment has introduced a package of energy consumption reducing features into its range of slitting and rewinding machinery. The company uses the latest high-efficiency motors with up-to-date AC vector drives and utilizes regenerative motors, rather than pneumatic brakes. In some applications, brake energy is enough to reduce power consumption of the machine by more than 40%. The machines turn off unused systems and avoid fan systems that run when not required.
